When Should I Arrive / Depart?

For those participating in the Saturday Organizing Institute, we encourage you to arrive by Friday, April 4. All others should arrive by Saturday, April 5. For those participating in Hill Day on Monday, April 7 and need to depart that evening, please bring your luggage with you to Capitol Hill (storage provided) and book your return travel no earlier than:
  • Union Station (Rail): 4:30pm
  • National Airport (DCA): 6:30pm
  • Dulles Airport (IAD): 7:30pm
  • Baltimore/Washington Airport (BWI): 7:30pm

Arriving by Airplane

  • Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (airport code: DCA)
    • METRO: take the Yellow Line (YL) or Blue Line (BL) three stops to King Street-Old Town.​ It is a 10-12 minute walk to the hotel or you can call the hotel for a free shuttle pick up (#703-253-8600; run 7am-10pm, 7 days a week).
    • Other options: Airport shuttle, taxi and ride share services are available. 
  • Washington Dulles International Airport (airport code: IAD)
    • METRO: take the Silver Line (SL) service to Rosslyn station, and transfer to the Blue Line (BL) towards Franconia/Springfield. Get off at the King Street-Old Town station. It is a 10-12 minute walk to the hotel or you can call the hotel for a free shuttle pick up (#703-253-8600; run 7am-10pm, 7 days a week).
    • Other options: Airport shuttle, taxi and ride share services are available.
  • Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (airport code: BWI)​

Arriving by Metrorail

The closest Metrorail station is the King Street-Old Town station accessible off the Yellow Line (YL) and Blue Line (BL). It is a 10-12 minute walk to the hotel or you can call the hotel for a free shuttle pick up (#703-253-8600; running 7 days a week from 7am-10pm). Arriving by Amtrak or Intercity Bus

Amtrak and most intercity bus lines (e.g. Greyhound, Peter Pan, MegaBus, Bolt) arrive at Union Station. From there you can access the Metrorail system via the Red Line (RL), transfer to the Yellow Line (YL) and then follow the instructions above. Taxis and rideshares are also available. Arriving by Car

Valet parking is available onsite ($45/daily) as well as a number of public parking garages are available in the area including the USPTO West Lot ($10/daily) one block away.​
