SRF365

SRF365 is the continuous, year-round virtual programming that amplifies and supplements our Summit for Religious Freedom (SRF). This programming creates a year-round hub for education, building power, networking and taking action together. This ensures an ongoing collective fight for religious freedom, church-state separation, and the issues that depend on them, while collaborating to defeat the biggest threats to these values including Christian nationalists and other extremists, along with their political allies, who have launched a coordinated campaign to force us all to live by their narrow, religious beliefs.

Trump's First 45 Days: Hope in Action for Rights and Religious Freedom

March 5, 2025 @ 7:30 p.m. ET
Picture
As the first 45 days of the new Trump Administration unfold, communities nationwide are navigating rapid policy shifts and executive orders from Project 2025. While these changes pose significant challenges—especially for immigrants, LGBTQ+ individuals (particularly transgender people), young people, religious minorities, and the nonreligious—there is also hope.
We are not alone in this fight. Across the nation, advocates, legal experts, and grassroots movements are pushing back, building power, and securing wins that protect church-state separation and inclusive religious freedom. Join us for an insightful and action-oriented discussion on what’s happened so far, what it means for our communities, and how we can collectively forge a path forward. Together, we will explore strategies for resistance, stories of resilience, and tangible ways to take action—because even in difficult times, hope is not just possible, it’s essential.

Unmasking Christian Nationalism in America

Tuesday, March 7, 2023 @ 7:30 p.m. ET
Join us for a deep dive into the underpinnings of white Christian Nationalism revealed by the new PRRI/Brookings survey. With responses from over 6,000 Americans, the results provide new measures to estimate the proportion of Americans who adhere to and reject Christian nationalist ideology, its rising influence in some circles of American politics and the major threat it poses to the to the health of our democracy.

We’ll also discuss how these results affect the work of organizations and individuals to maintain the separation of church and state and preserve inclusive religious freedom, as well as the issues nearest to them like abortion access, LGBTQ+ rights, and strong public schools.

The survey also examines how Christian Nationalist views intersect with white identity, anti-Black sentiment, patriarchy, antisemitism, anti-Muslim sentiments, anti-immigrant attitudes, authoritarianism, and support for violence. Additionally, the survey explores the influence Christian Nationalism has among our two political parties and major religious subgroups today.
