Join us for the SRF Organizing Institute, an interactive, hands-on training to build the knowledge and skills you’ll need to advocate for church-state separation in your community. This is a new program for SRF where you can learn how to effectively communicate to different audiences about church-state separation and the issues that depend on it; the basics of community outreach, including building coalition across issues and across communities of faith and nonbelievers;and how to make a plan to organize in your community. You’ll hear from the experts at Americans United for Separation of Church and State as well as network, learn and share your own experience with activists from across the country.
The SRF Organizing Institute is a must for newer activists to church-state separation, but will also benefit more experienced activists who want to further develop or refresh their skills – all are welcome! Come prepared to learn and share, practice new skills, and participate in small-group discussions.
