Summit for Religious Freedom
The Summit for Religious Freedom (SRF) will be a gathering of those who understand that religious freedom is foundational to their work in building a more just and equitable nation. An enduring separation of church and state is the shield that protects everyone's right to live as themselves and believe as they choose, and prevents the misuse of religious freedom to discriminate or exclude.
SRF will be home to supporters, organizers, policy and legal experts, academics, political and religious leaders and people of faith and of no religion -- whether you are new to the issue or a longtime advocate. It is a place for teaching and learning, organizing and advocacy, thought leadership and lessons learned, bringing our community together and celebrating our accomplishments. Americans United for Separation of Church & State is proud to be the convener of this collaborative event! |

Summit for Religious Freedom
Securing religious freedom takes everyone, from every intersecting issue, working together in a new way. That’s why, with SRF, we've embraced a more dynamic convening -- a collaborative conference.
SRF is led and organized by Americans for Separation of Church and State, but as a collaborative conference all stakeholders in this fight are encouraged to help shape the event: from the goals, to the sessions and everything in between! |
Summit for Religious Freedom
Americans United for Separation of Church and State (AU) is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit educational and advocacy organization that brings together people of all religions and none to protect the right of everyone to believe as they want — and stop anyone from using their beliefs to harm others. We fight in the courts, legislatures, and the public square for freedom without favor and equality without exception.
The foundational principle of separation of church and state safeguards our right to live and believe as we choose. AU envisions a nation where our government does not promote any religion or spiritual belief, our laws do not allow anyone to use their religious beliefs to harm others, and where we come together as equals to build a stronger democracy. |
